Writing about a recent wallpaper, I talked about the neat things in your garden that develop over time, often unintentionally. I mentioned a nice area of our pond featuring a wall of Japanese Iris that was never intentionally planted in the ground, but sort of spread out of a single little pot that was set there. I love the powerful purple flowers that appear there each spring and the elegant spears of leaves that accent the rocky edge of the pond. My favorite thing about these plants, though, is when the seed pods develop after the flowers are gone and droop into the water, casting these beautiful reflections. Thus, I give you this week’s wallpaper.
As always, look below for the appropriate wallpaper for your display, and check out our Facebook page for great pond pictures from around the web throughout the week.
