Do It Yourself (from Better Homes and Gardens) has a great article about building a pond in a box.  The article has step by step instructions for building a very cool container water garden.  Container water gardens are perfect if you want water plants (or even a couple tiny fish), but don’t have the space or inclination to install a full in-ground pond.  Check out their instructions here.
