After a couple of weeks away for the holiday season, we’re back and better than ever (maybe). Shall we get right to the photos? I think we should. At the very least I should stop typing about getting right to the photos, right? Right.
Well, I guess tiny trees are one way to make your pond seem bigger. Bonsai trees are amazing, and I’m guessing that this landscape takes a ton of upkeep just to keep those trees looking that great. I’ve been considering getting a bonsai tree for my desk, but I definitely want to engage in this ancient and sublimely meditative art in the laziest way possible. That’s just me. Shot by Noryadi Noruddin.
This awesome shot from Ecossistemas shows one way to reuse an old staircase that you’re not using anymore. It’s a very cool look, the staircase waterfall, and, if I’m not mistaken, it appears that this one has two smaller waterfalls breaking off of the first over stones, then rejoining the main falls. Very cool symmetry.
Here’s another one from Ecossistemas. Do you have a giant glass-ceilinged room for your pond? I don’t, but this photo definitely makes me think that I need one.
My pond doesn’t keep me dry, but his does. Great shot from Laguna Ponds.
Finally, here’s an absolutely stunning couple of fish from Koi Hunt. The colors on that guy are just so vivid and well-defined. Plus, he looks so surprised!
That’s it for this week, kids. As always, check back next week for more photos, and check out our Facebook page for even more photos and pondly goodness.
