I’m back again with more pond photos, because I just can’t be stopped. That’s not true, actually. There are many, many ways to stop me. I’d rather you didn’t, though. Anyway: Pond pictures!
Let’s start this week with this awesome little Nelumbo nucifera, photographed by Noriko Arima. It’s adorable, and I love it. I think that our Facebook friend Renee hit it on the head with “charming.”
Next, we check out this fantastic long, many-stage formal rock waterfall bordered on each side by roses and stairs. The symmetry is awesome and I absolutely love the wall bordering what looks to be a pond up top. More importantly, though, I can’t help but imagine myself making the most zen and relaxing Rocky-esque charge up the stairs ever.
OK, this stunning photo is of paper koi, but they’re so much more than that. They’re beautiful archival origami sculptures designed by Sipho Mabona of Mabona Origami Paper Sculptures. I highly recommend checking out the entire store there on Etsy, every piece there is absolutely beautiful.
This one comes from Koifarm. All I can really say is that I would really, really love to spend a lot of time there.
Finally, we have a beautiful open lotus. Really, really tremendous color on this big guy.
And, with that, I wish you a happy Friday and hope that you’ll check out our Facebook page for more pond photos and tons of pond tips and ideas.
