This week’s free water garden wallpaper features one of my favorite pond plants, the White Delight Water Lily. I’m a huge fan of simple, elegant blooms, and this girl is hard to beat for that. I also love how high-contrast she is in a pond. I’m not affected, but color blindness runs strongly in my family, so high-contrast flowers is something that I’ve always looked for in plants so that my father and brother could enjoy them. I’m also a huge fan of interesting foliage, and I love nicely mottled or variegated lily pads that are distinct from the other pads that surround them, and on White Delight the pads have a nice, pretty mottle that extends to the bud casing, as can be seen in this photo.
